The questions we get before a demo
Starting with the one we are asked most often: yes, you can already be running something else. We do that migration for you, from any provider, free.
We already use another provider. What does moving look like?
Three phases, and we do the work. You connect your current provider read-only; we inventory every identity, grant, policy and in-flight review, and show you that map before anything changes. Ploy then mirrors it and both systems run at once, so you are comparing them rather than trusting us. You cut over when the mirror matches, on your date. It costs nothing.
How migration worksWill anyone lose access while we migrate?
No, because nothing is moved out of your existing system. It keeps serving requests for as long as you want it to while Ploy runs beside it, and the cutover is a decision you make after comparing the two. A named engineer runs the migration, so escalations go to a person rather than a docs page.
How migration worksDo we have to connect anything first?
No. The demo runs on our environment, so there is nothing to prepare and no security review to clear before the call. When you do connect, in a trial, it is read-only until you explicitly grant write access.
How long until we see our own access?
Under twenty minutes from the first connection. The connectors are pre-built, so there is no data model to define and no import to schedule: you authenticate, we scan, and grants start appearing while you watch.
Will Luna act without us approving?
Not for anything high-impact. Those come back for a yes, every time. Where that line sits is a setting rather than a fixed policy, and we will show you both where it starts and how to move it.
