A job assignment in Employee Central brings the person into Ploy with their department, location and manager, ready for policy to work out their access.

MOVERS

A new job or manager recalculates access

Job and organisation fields are read on every scan, so a move between departments or managers reaches Ploy without anyone raising a ticket.

LEAVERS

The end date starts the unwind

Once the last working day has passed, Ploy marks the person as left and offboarding begins from the HR record.

STEP 01

Register an OAuth client

In the API Center, register an OAuth client application with an X.509 certificate and download its private key. Give an API user the Employee Central HRIS OData API (read-only) permission and a target population that covers everyone.

STEP 02

Enter the connection details

Enter the API server, company ID, API key, API user ID and private key. Ploy signs each login request with the key and checks it can read job records before it saves the connection. Ploy only reads from SAP SuccessFactors.

STEP 03

Watch the first sync

Employees, their job and organisation fields and their employment dates land in the graph.
