WHAT PLOY DOES
Sync Alchemer account usersEvery account user arrives in Ploy as an identity, active or disabled, with when they last logged in and whether they are an administrator.

Read the licence each user holdsEach licence tier becomes an entitlement on the Alchemer app, and the seats move with the user when a licence is reassigned.

Discover teams and who is in themTeams land as groups, with each member and the team role they hold. A team deleted in Alchemer is archived in Ploy.

Create account usersPloy creates the user with a display name and licence, and Alchemer emails them to set a password. A user can also be created disabled.

Disable, re-enable and update usersPloy switches a user between active and disabled, changes their licence and sets their display name. Disabling frees the seat and keeps the record.

Add and remove team membersPloy adds a user to a team with the team default role, and takes them off it again.

Three jobs this connector does on day one

SEATS

Every licence has a holder

Each user arrives with the licence tier they hold. When a licence moves to someone else, the old holder loses the seat on the next sync and the new holder gains it.

TEAMS

Team access is a grant

An approved request adds the user to the Alchemer team with its default role. When the access ends, Ploy takes them off the team again.

LEAVERS

Disable first, delete when you are sure

Offboarding can disable the account and free the seat while the record stays, or delete the user outright when nothing needs to be kept.

STEP 01

Pick your data centre

Choose the region in your Alchemer URL: United States, European Union, Canada or Australia. The wrong region rejects valid credentials.

STEP 02

Create an administrator API key

An Alchemer account administrator creates the key under Account, Integrations, API Key. The user API is available to administrators only.

STEP 03

Paste the token and secret

Enter the API token and its secret. Ploy tests the connection, then users, teams and licences land in the graph.
